The VP 8220 Videophone supports:

High video and audio quality
Inheriting the video and audio processing techniques from the ViewPoint group terminal, the VP 8220 videophone delivers 30 fps video and crystal clear audio to the users. The improved AGC, AEC and ANS algorithms bring the audio quality to a new level.
Multiple A/V Input/Output
There are four available A/V jacks on the rear panel, thus, allowing the users to connect additional A/V devices such as VCDs, DVDs, VCRs and TVs.
QoS Enhanced
With Huawei proprietary QoS measures, the VP 8220 videophone can deliver smooth video even
if there is heavy packet loss (around 30%). Further more, the connection rate is self-adapting
to the network traffic status to ensure the video quality in a changing network environment.
Firewall / NAT Traversing
Utilizing Huawei’s proprietary Static NAT and SNP protocols, VP 8220 videophone can traverse
firewalls and NAT devices without any extra equipment assistance.
Effortless Maintenance
The VP 8220 incorporates many loop and network status checking functions, thus, easing the burden of locating faulty components, should they occur. The self-detected software upgrade mechanism frees the user from the hassles of performing routine maintenance.
Security and Privacy
The Gatekeeper Registration Password and System Setup Password prevent undesired access. The user can disable the local video function anytime to ensure privacy.
